Repeat records from Scales Park, near Nuthampstead in 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022 strongly indicate a breeding presence here, but there are no other reports from any area of either county. The moth is typically found to the west of an imaginary line drawn between the Isle of Wight and Carlisle.
