General comments:
Extremely local and declining resident. Species of Conservation Concern.

This moth has vanished from several known sites in our area and is in serious numerical decline nationally. If is almost certainly extinct in Middlesex and there are only four records for Hertfordshire since 1st January 2000.

Recorded in 15 (37%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1887.
Last Recorded in 2021.
