General comments:
Widespread resident.

This moth is expected wherever Dog Rose grows in hedges and elsewhere. The map shows a very clear absence from London proper (compare with the Small Yellow Wave (Hydrelia flammeolaria) with the same foodplant, similar habitat requirements and similar flight period.
