Extinct resident?

Modern thinking suggests that subspecies jasioneata Crewe, the Jasione Pug, is restricted to the south-west Wales, the Isle of Man and Ireland, so that all of our records from Hertfordshire are in fact Campanula Pugs. Regrettably, I have not yet been able to trace any of these specimens. Foster (1937) lists records for several sites, all of which are mapped. More recent records, all of singletons are from Stanmore in 1984, Croxley Common Moor in 2003, Cheshunt in 2005 and Bramfield Woods in 2019.
