General comments
Ubiquitous resident.

One of the few distinctive pug species, the Lime-speck has always been a very common species in the two counties. The larvae feed on the flowers of a rather wide range of low-growing and not-so-low growing plants.

Recorded in 37 (90%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1887.
Last Recorded in 2024.
