General comments:
Widespread resident.

Fresh examples are bright green and render the moth easily recognisable, but these soon become worn. The characteristic 'V' shape on the fore wing usually remains visible, however. It is a common species throughout our area.

Recorded in 30 (73%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1906.
Last Recorded in 2023.
