General comments:
Extinct resident.

Old records are from Tring (prior to 1937) and Bishops Stortford (1940). A small number of other published records appear to relate to misidentified Early Tooth-striped. There is an almost vanishingly small chance that this species might persist in northern hertfordshire in the few places where Wild Privet still grows. A targeted search of the plants on Church Hill at Royston might be a useful staring point.
