General comments:
Widespread but very local resident. Perhaps vagrant.

Widespread, but there are areas where it may well be absent - including almost the entire London area, that is south-east Middlesex. Although certainly resident, there may also be evidence of immigration or vagrancy. For example, one on 5th August 2006 was the first in my garden in spite of continuous trapping since October 1986 and on the following night, another example was caught in another part of Bishops Stortford - also a first for a well-studied site. There was considerable immigrant activity at the time.
