General comments:
Widespread but very local resident.

Formerly restricted to marshy sites in the main river corridors, a significant increase in the number of sites supporting this formerly Nationally rare moth was noted from 2008 onwards. Some adults, caught at garden light traps, are clearly wanderers.

Recorded in 22 (54%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1990.
Last Recorded in 2022.
