General comments:
Widespread but local resident.

The moth is usually present at low density in woodland edge habitats, especially in association with White Campion plants. Interestingly, it seems to be largely absent from Middlesex where old reports from Hadley Wood, Hounslow and Islington are thought to relate to either immigrants or vagrants
