General comments:
Widespread resident.

The Brown-line Bright-eye frequents a range of habitats across the county, but is by far most numerous in damp grasslands and marshes and is not reported from a number of adequately recorded dry sites. It seems to matter little if the damp grassland areas are open and exposed or within woodlands.

Recorded in 35 (85%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1887.
Last Recorded in 2023.
