(Haworth, 1809) 2269 / 73.219

General comments:
Widespread resident.

The Centre-barred Sallow is likely to be found wherever there is an Ash tree growing. The apparent national population decline of 74 per cent since 1970 (as measured at Rothamsted light traps), is not supported by Hertfordshire data gleaned from other recording methods.

Recorded in 36 (88%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1893.
Last Recorded in 2023.
