General comments:
Widespread resident.

Some examples of Light Arches can be quite reddish and may be confused with Reddish Light Arches, but in such cases the absence of a post-median line on the hind wing immediately identifies the Light Arches. The moth is numerous across the entire county, yet we have no idea of the species of grass that it feeds upon.
