General comments:
Extremely local resident

Occasional records at several sites away from wetland habitat suggest a degree of mobility on the part of the adults, but as a resident this moth is confined to wetland habitat with a good floral biodiversity and usually including reeds (Phragmites).

Recorded in 24 (59%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1887.
Last Recorded in 2023.
