General comments
Accidentally imported. Perhaps former temporary resident.

In Middlesex there seems to have been a temporarily resident population in the City of London area at the end of the nineteenth century, with valid reports from Bloomsbury in 1856 (the first British record), Holborn, June 1868, Oxford Street in 1873, Cannon Street on 22 July 1879 and Southampton Row on 21 July 1898. The origin was presumably introduced examples with produce. In Hertfordshire, a single adult was found in the packing room at the Tring Museum 'probably introduced', according to Foster (1937) who, with infallible predictability, failed to report when this event may have taken place.
