General comments
Extremely local resident.

Many reports of the Plain Wave prove to relate to Riband Waves on closer inspection and separation of the two may be difficult in some cases. The outermost of the main cross-lines of the forewing curves smoothly to join the costa without the characteristic inwardly-directed elbow of Riband Wave. Beginners claiming Plain Wave should support the claim with a specimen or a photograph.
