General comments:
Widespread resident.

Though the flight chart shows continuous records from mid-May to early September, this combines all data for the years 2000 to 2022; in any single year there is a gap of two or three weeks between generations of adults. In Middlesex it is evidently extremely local.

Recorded in 35 (85%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1887.
Last Recorded in 2024.
