Widespread but local resident.

Our first record of this recent arrival in Britain is from Hemel Hempstead, where Roger Prue caught one in his garden light trap on 14th October 2006. At the time we noted that it is a species that is likely to become established as a resident and extend its range. Time has proved us correct. These new colonists are using ornamental Cupressaceae as larval foodplants, rather than the more usual Juniper.
