Immigrant.

The second of only three British examples of this moth was caught in the Rothamsted trap at Harpenden during the weekend from 19th to 21st June 1992. In his guide to British Pugs (Riley & Prior, 2003) Riley incorrectly cites his own co-authored reference as Townsend & Riley, 1991; happily this faux pas in which the moth was apparently reported before it was captured preceded my time as Editor of the journal! A previous British record was made in Somerset a week earlier and a later one was made in East Kent in 2005.

Recorded in 1 (2%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1992.
Last Recorded in 1992.
