General comments:
Extremely local resident

This moth has a strong affinity with the Upper Chalk. It is evidently well-established in North Hertfordshire. The single site in north-west Hertfordshire is at Aldbury, where it is also regarded as resident. There is an obvious need to look at suitable sites between these two areas and it is fairly predictable that the moth wll be found there. Odd reports from elsewhere presumably involve wanderers.
