General comments:
Extremely local resident. Declining. Species of Conservation Concern.

This species is probably under-recorded because of its late flight period. Places with long-established plants of Broom might support it, but we have failed to locate it in many places. The value of recently planted areas, such as roadside embankments, is currently unknown.

Recorded in 19 (46%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1887.
Last Recorded in 2021.
