General comments:
Vagrant.

This is, essentially, a species of the West Country, Wales, Ireland and Scotland, with a few isolated places along the eastern section of the south coast and there were no Hertfordshire records since before the publication of the 1937 county list until a male was caught at in a light trap at Kensworth, on 5th July 2014 by Peter Collins. The correct identification was verified by myself from an excellent-quality photograph.

Recorded in 7 (17%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1887.
Last Recorded in 2014.
