General comments:
Extinct Resident.

According to S. B. Hodgson, Mr J. H. Bell informed him in 1939 that 'Crocata belgaria (= Dyscia fagaria) occurred regularly on Berkhamsted Common from 1909 to 1914, the best place being on and around the golf course'. Subsequent searching failed to locate the species beyond 1914.
