General comments:
Extremely local resident.

Evidently declining; only 20% of all records relate to the post-2000 period and the moth has vanished from several former sites. The distinctive caterpillars should be searched for in field edges and similar habitats in appropriate season'; awaiting the arrival of adults in light traps is much more a game of chance!

Recorded in 21 (51%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1895.
Last Recorded in 2022.
