Brindled Green
Dryobotodes eremita

(Fabricius, 1775) 2248 / 73.225

General comments:
Widespread but local resident.

This is another common autumn species across the county and it appears always to have been so. There are no reports of the melanic ab. nigra Cockayne and all material that I have seen is of the typical form or close to it.

Recorded in 33 (80%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1887.
Last Recorded in 2023.
