General comments:
Ubiquitous.

The term ubiquitous could easily have been invented to describe this moth, which the residents of East London used to refer to as the "Cherry Picker". Adults can be found all year in mild weather. The autumn generation of adults is certainly usually boosted by the arrival of primary immigrants. Larvae are frequently encountered, though foodplants are rarely recorded!

Recorded in 37 (90%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1887.
Last Recorded in 2024.
