General comments:
Widespread but local resident.

Unlike Double Kidney, to which it bears passing resemblance, the Olive is a tolerably widespread, albeit local, moth in the county. A high proportion of records are from domestic gardens and it is assumed that poplar trees in towns are providing the primary food source, though this statement is not based on any scientific data.

Recorded in 30 (73%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1887.
Last Recorded in 2023.
