Dusky Sallow
Eremobia ochroleuca

([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775) 2352 / 73.120

General comments:
Widespread and common.

Although this has never been a rare species, it is certainly present now (2023) in far greater numerical abundance than it was 40 years earlier. Such rises and falls in population are a normal event. It seems to avoid truly urban areas and suburbia, where the semi-natural habitats are all but eliminated.

Recorded in 34 (83%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1930.
Last Recorded in 2024.
