Surprisingly, perhaps, the Ear Moth is decidedly local in Hertfordshire, although the draconian criteria with regard to genitalia examination that I have rigorously imposed for record acceptance may have removed several records that are actually quite correct. However, the map presented can be relied upon as accurate and those who are aggrieved that their garden records are absent know what to do about it!
