General comments:
Widespread but local resident.

The giant gap of southern Hertfordshire/northern Middlesex that appears to have lost this species is an unexpected surprise. This zone is not one that features in a list of under-recorded areas. At the national level, the population of the Latticed Heath has apparently declined by 87 per cent since 1970.

Recorded in 33 (80%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1887.
