Foodplant:   Clovers, Bird's-foot-trefoil, Black Medick and Lucerne other vetches and trefoils.

General comments:
Widespread but local resident.

The Burnet Companion is recorded on an equal number of occasions to Mother Shipton, but these records report approximately twice the number of individuals, suggesting that the Burnet Companion is the more common of the two day-flying species.
