General comments:
All of the Coleophora species in our area are under-recorded; naming most requires either finding the larvae or dissecting the genitalia of the adults (or both!). For this reason, notes made here are deliberately short, but will be updated on a species by species basis as information surfaces.

Vagrant. On Chenopodiaceae.See comments at Coleophora saxicola concerning the ignored 1902 record of "Coleophora annulatella", which might relate to this species, (though probably does not).
