Exapate congelatella

(Clerck, 1759)1026 / 49.043

General comments:

Extremely local resident.
The Broxbourne Woods complex (National Nature Reserve) supports the only resident population in our two counties. A single male at Bishops Stortford in 2007 is presumed to be a wanderer from Broxbourne or perhaps one of the nearby Essex woodlands.

Recorded in 4 (10%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1822.
Last Recorded in 2007.
