Apotomis capreana

(Hübner, 1817)1094 / 49.151

General comments
Widespread but very local resident.

This is surely an overlooked species, associated with sallows. I am aware of at least two persons confusing it with the birch-feeding Apotomis betuletana.

Recorded in 16 (39%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1890.
Last Recorded in 2023.
