Eucosmomorpha albersana

(Hübner, 1813)1217 / 49.199

General comments:
Extinct former resident.

Older records are for the Sandridge area (Griffith, 1890), Knebworth Great Wood in 1923 (Edwards) and Bricket Wood (Fryer) in Foster (1937). From Middlesex, noted only in a garden light trap in Hornsey in May 1999 and at Rye Meads in July 2008. At the end of the nineteenth century it was apparently common; today it appears to be scarce and is apparently absent from our two counties.

Recorded in 5 (12%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1890.
Last Recorded in 2008.
