Cydia ulicetana

(Haworth, 1811)1255 / 49.325
=Cydia succedana

General comments:
Widespread and common

Some members of the genus Cydia present a challenge of identification and in many cases, examination of the genitalia is almost always the preferred method.

This is the succedana of older British authors. Razowski (2003) notes that succedana ([D.& S.]) does not occur in our country. C. succedana is widespread and common and expected wherever there are gorse bushes.

Recorded in 24 (59%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1888.
Last Recorded in 2024.
