Widespread - locally common.

The members of the genus Dichrorampha present a challenge - both in finding examples and in correctly naming them. In recent years the introduction of various artificial pheromone lures has boosted recording - particularly since it seems that many lures are not entirely target-specific and may attract the "wrong" species. In terms of identification, examination of the genitalia is almost always the preferred method.

Adults should be targeted in daytime as they fly about the foodplant.
