General comments:
Adventive - now a very local resident. Expanding.

An adventive species, originating in Australasia, first noted in Britain in Dorset in 2009. It is associated with Bracken (Pteridium aquilinum) and is evidently established in some of the woodlands of Hertfordshire. It is extending its range and is likely to be found wherever there is established Bracken. During 2024 it appeared in Perivale Wood, but more unexpectedly in a light trap on the roof of a building in the City of London - a very long way from any suitable habitat area.

Recorded in 13 (32%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2016.
Last Recorded in 2023.
