=Perinephela lancealis

General comments:
Very local, but not uncommon resident.

The southern woodlands of Hertfordshire are the home of this moth, which is a sort of narrow-winged version of Mother of Pearl. In this habitat it is expected; elsewhere it is not, though occasional wanderers turn up in gardens near these woodland sites.

Recorded in 15 (37%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1957.
Last Recorded in 2023.
