General comments:
Widespread and common resident.

From 1834 to the present day this has been a common moth. There appear to be two overlapping generations in Herts and Middlesex.

Recorded in 36 (88%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1890.
Last Recorded in 2024.
