Aglossa pinguinalis

(Linnaeus, 1758)1421 / 62.074

General comments:
Widespread but rather local resident.

Usually, this moth is rather scarce and very local in its distribution, but during 2005 and 2006 there was an unexpected flurry of reliable records backed by specimens or photographs. However, this event was short lived and the status of the species, overall, is unaltered.

Recorded in 28 (68%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1885.
Last Recorded in 2023.
