=Pyla fusca

General comments
Vagrant.

Arguments continue over the correct name for this species, which is called Pyla fusca in a great many moth books. Confusion is possible with adults of Ortholepis betulae, but both are somewhat infrequent in our area.

Recorded in 15 (37%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1902.
Last Recorded in 2023.
