Ephestia elutella

(Hübner, 1796)1473 / 62.064

General comments:
Adventive. Scarce synanthropic resident.

Seldom reported - perhaps becoming rare or perhaps under-reported. There are two problems: first is correct identification, the second is that most discoveries are in commercial premises where the moth is rapidly anihilated and the pest control companies are not permitted to divulge information.

Determination by Genitalia Examination Required

Recorded in 12 (29%) of 41 10k Squares.
