Hertfordshire Notes:
Extremely local resident.

Hexton Chalk Pit, 4 July 2017 - several. The only other Hertfordshire report was from 'near Hexton' in 1930. The caterpillar is associated with Wild Thyme (Thymus polytrichus) in chalk grassland. Habitat fragility renders it a Species of Conservation Concern in Hertfordshire.
