General comments:
Very local, but almost certainly overlooked. The low number of records in the south of Hertfordshire and in Middlesex is surprising. Gently sweeping flowers of Germander Speedwell Veronica chamaedrys with a net at dusk in late May or June may well reveal that this moth is more widespread than the small number of existing records suggest; we also have records of adults associated with Common Speedwell at Broxbourne Wood in May 1999.
