General comments:
Absent - potentially overlooked, but equally likely to have vanished from our area. Larva on Birch Betula.


Hertfordshire Notes: First recorded at Berkhamsted in 1937 by J. Hervey, mines were seen regularly throughout the 1980s in Broxbourne Wood, but have not been noticed there since 1987. Mines were also noted in Bricket Wood in 1980. The only recent record is from Furzefield Wood, Symondshyde on 18th September 1998, made by Raymond Uffen.

Middlesex Notes: Larval mines at Stanmore in 1988 and an unverified report of an adult at light in West Ealing in 2017 (not mapped).
