General comments:
Restricted to Cornelian Cherry Cornus mas - mines in leaves of Cornus sanguinea belong to Antispila petryi or A. metallella and not this species. The apparent scarcity probably indicates under-recording, as most Cornelian Cherry is likely to be hidden away in inaccessible private back gardens. Town parks feature heavily in the database.
