General comments:
The adult moth requires dissection for separation from H. ditella.

Hertfordshire Notes:
Very local and never found in number, but probably overlooked.

Middlesex Notes:
Mapped for Middlesex in volume 2 of MBGBI without any supporting data. Otherwise just reaching the county in the north-west at Harefield.
