General comments:
Extremely local and rarely encountered.
The caterpillars mine under the bark of Broom plants and the mines are not particularly easy to see, so the moth is probably under-recorded and should be searched for in new areas. Some reported Barnet records of adults have proved to be L. laburnella on dissection.
