Hertfordshire Notes:
Widespread and numerically common across the whole county wherever deciduous oaks are present. Larval mines tend to be on larger, older leaves rather than on fresh leaves, though this is not exclusively the case.

Middlesex Notes:
Widespread and usually common. In spite of its name, this species is associated with deciduous oaks Quercus and not Elm Ulmus.
